My name is Bruce Turner, and I’m running for Mayor of Murray City. My family has called Murray home for over 120 years. I’ve continued that legacy of service through a 45-year career with Murray Power, including 12 years as Operations Manager, and by serving on the Murray Power Board, Shade Tree Commission, and in regional leadership roles.
I’m running because Murray needs more accountable leadership. City spending has grown without clear oversight, taxes have increased, and residents are often left out of the decision-making process. At the same time, housing has become increasingly unaffordable for many families. As mayor, I’ll bring transparency, responsible budgeting, and a more efficient, citizen-focused government to ensure Murray remains a place where families can thrive.
